5. Stoudemire a game-time decision
Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire will try to return to the floor for Sunday’s Game 4 matchup against the Heat after missing Game 3 with a laceration on his left hand, however Knicks coach Mike Woodson would only say that he is a game-time decision for the contest. Stoudemire went through practice with the team on Saturday, and while Woodson did tell the New York Post that he looked “pretty good” while going through the team’s scripted offense, whether he plays or not is out of both Stoudemire and Woodson’s hands. “I hope pretty good. He looked pretty good on the floor but it’s not my decision,” Woodson said. “It’s going to be the doctors’ decision.’’

6. Butler makes surprise return
Clippers forward Caron Butler, who suffered a fracture in his left hand during Game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs in Memphis last Sunday that was expected to keep him out for four to six weeks, was surprisingly in the starting lineup for Game 3 on Saturday. Butler played 22 minutes in the game, scoring four points with three rebounds, however he said before the game that the chance to help the team win was worth playing through the pain. "Being able to go out there and support my team is the most important thing to me," Butler said in a statement before the game. "I can play through the pain if it means I can help us take the lead in the series." The Clippers would win the game, 87-86 to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

8. Smith expects to play Sunday
Hawks forward Josh Smith told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Saturday that he expects to play through his sprained left knee, unless he “falls down the escalator and re-injures something,” Smith said. He said the knee has been feeling better every day that he has rested since injuring it during Game 2, and he plans to play through whatever pain he might be dealing with. "I'm probably going to play regardless how [knee] feels because I know the importance of this game,” he said.

Rondo, who missed the second game of the series after being suspended for bumping into a referee, played 49 minutes in the overtime game, shooting 7 of 22 from the field, while adding four steals and six turnovers in the game.

12. Allen returns to the floor
After missing the final games of the regular season and first two of the postseason, guard Ray Allen was finally back on the floor for the Celtics for Friday’s Game 3 against the Hawks. Allen played 37 minutes in the game, scoring 13 points on 6 of 12 shooting, and he might have to be inserted back into the starting lineup for Game 4, after Avery Bradley was forced to miss the entire fourth quarter with a dislocated left shoulder.

13. Bradley exits with shoulder dislocation
Celtics guard Avery Bradley was forced to leave Friday’s Game 3 against Atlanta with two minutes remaining after suffering a dislocated left shoulder, and he was unable to return to the game. "Shoulder went out," Celtics coach Doc Rivers told ESPN.com. "And he's had that problem all year. Usually they're able to -- like a Lego -- snap it back in. It wouldn't go back in. So we'll find out more (Saturday)." He was expected to return to the game, however after being tended to by team physicians, was ruled out.
